Ippuku Tea Room — Bangkok
CHATUCHAK, BANGKOK

A quiet pausefor matcha & Chinese tea.

Ippuku means "a moment's rest, one cup." Tucked into a soi off Phahon Yothin, we steep ceremonial-grade Uji matcha and hand-selected Chinese tea for anyone who wants to slow down for twenty minutes.

ABOUT THE ROOM

Tea, taken seriously — without the ceremony

We work with single-origin Uji matcha across ceremonial and premium grades, alongside a rotating selection of Chinese tea chosen leaf by leaf. Nothing is blended for convenience — every bowl is whisked to order, and every pour is talked through if you're curious.

The room is small, low-lit, and unhurried: raw timber, linen-toned walls, and a single shelf of tea canisters behind the counter. Come in with questions — the owner will happily walk you through the difference between the Uji Exclusive cultivar and a full ceremonial-grade pour like Wakō.

"A real tea nerd when it comes to Chinese tea and matcha — a whole tea universe." — from a guest review
